Nolwenn Languille, a painter, teaches visual arts at AMB (Arts and Music in Baden) and in Plougoumelen. Known for her illustrations in children's books, she less often shows her personal painting work. The public can discover it at the media library until the end of the month, mixed with original plates from works in progress. For this exhibition in Baden, «everything is new,» she specifies.
«Keep the poetic side»
«In my paintings, I try to keep the poetic and colorful side where imagination and childhood shine through... I hide old writings in them that come from my great-aunts who were ennobled under Napoleon. Nolwenn, in parallel, works for a professional nature guide, creating birds or seaside animals. A true entomologist's work, supervised by experts in the field. Nolwenn also exhibits at Lézard Loko, in Auray, on Rue du Lait. Her latest illustrations in »The Red Heart of Broceliande,« published by Coop Breizh, were released recently. Two other albums are awaiting publication.
